Are you a new dog owner? One of the most exciting places you could bring your dog to put a smile on that fur baby’s face is the Dog Park.

There’s nothing better than strapping your best friend into your motor vehicle and seeing that smiley tongue hang out the window ready for a day of play. But before that make sure you have these five essentials to make the most of your fun during your pups first Dog Park experience.

1. Water Bowl

Dogs naturally get very thirsty while exercising, so this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Luckily there should be multiple water sources to pour a bowl of water for your pup when you both are bonding, training, or socializing with other pups.

2. Cleanup Bags

Another dog park essential would be to clean up after your pups mess just in case. When dogs are outside in a public area dog park there should be clean up bags in the vicinity but in case there isn’t, its good to come prepared. They even have clean up bag dispensers that come on your dogs leash which would allow for convenience in the situation.

3. Toys

Another way to bond with your dog at the dog park for their first experience would be to bring a fun toy that they can enjoy. Tennis Balls, Tug of Wars ropes, or even frisbees, can help give the exercise they need, and possibly even get other dogs into the fun.

4. Towel

The likelihood of your dog getting messy at a dog park is highly likely, and it is important to always bring a towel in case you would like to give them a good cleaning before getting them back in the car to bring them home.

5. Camera

Last but not least a good camera, or a high quality phone camera will do in order for you to take snapshots of your new pup for the world to see. Nothing is better than being able to look back at your new fur babies first moments at the dog park. Watching them run around with their tongue out, smiling, and running straight to you is sure to melt your heart when you look down and see them older.
